We are studying the OSI 7 layer model in my vo-tech class. I have read the descriptions of each layer that is in our text and still don't have a good understanding. I have done a google search and found a lot of articles but haven't found one that I think explains it well. Does anyone know of a site that has what they believe to be a good explanation of each layer, but doesn't get too in-depth.? Maybe telling what happens at each layer - and perhaps which devices are involved - router, hub, NIC, cable, etc.

Thanks for the site. Looks like a site I might want to add to favorites and do some more looking at.
