:tazz: ok so here it is i moved my computer the other day so naturally everything got unhooked when i booted back up and tried to play music files it said windows media player cant play it because there is a problem with my sound device when i look at audio devices it says there is no playback device what the [bleep] happened and how do i fix it?

im using logitech speakers and they worked fine before i unhooked everything

did you unhook everthing after the computer was turned off, or did you just rip everthing out?

yes i may not be extremely smart on comps but i know to shut it down and off before removing anything

Make sure that the speakers are plugged in to the right socket.
The correct socket is labelled line out and is normally green.

i have it all hooked up and have the same issue with my mike its hooked up and saying no device present
any ideas here im getting really frustrated now i want music
