First of all let me start by sating I have searched all I know to search and have found no resolve. I have the Bluescreen reading windows is shutting down .... tech info reads

0x000007e

ntfs.sys

I am using a Dell Inspiron B120 w/ Xp home SP2

In reading other post I may have probaly found a fix but I can't seem to keep the laptop off the bluescreen long enough to try (Regular or Safe Mode)

PLease help!!

could you post the full blue screen error? those are sort of ambiguous stop codes and have more than one reason

The next time I turned on my laptop I got:

I believe it said something the first time I got a Blue screen but not since then
I HAve Also Gotten

ok...well...the first error...suggests using checkdisk to repair the drive..and the second one is suggesting a driver error...did you install new hardware before this happened?

The Day after Christmas I installed a Belkin Bluethooth Adapter but at the begining of the year I installed Mircosoft Office 2003

but the computer worked up till now after that right?

Correct I spent Tuesday trying to get the bluetooth to connect so I could use it as a modem. In doing so i disable a driver but it was the mircosoft driver for the USB adapter. I got the bluetooth to connect but could not pull up any websites so I stopped. The next day I went to try again and that's when I got the BSOD

I can Boot up in safe mode for a while (matter of minutes 10-15).
IF I try to do anything in Normal Mode I don't have the time to

Uninstall the blue tooth adapter...does that change anything?

THe driver you are using for blue tooth...Where did it come from? CD or downlaoded? Often, drivers from CDs are out of date and updates ones on the manufacturers website will improve things

The Driver came from the CD

I went to try and uninstall the Adapter and the blue screen I got was:

IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal

The whole number is important...but IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal means driver error.

How did you try to uninstall the driver?

Have you checked the adapter site for an updated driver

Have Not uninstalled the adapter because safe mode will not let me do it and I can't stay on Normal long enough to do so
