Sadly, no discs, no drivers.

I looked through my own collection of discs and don't have anything either.

I checked out driverguide, and didn't see a driver for that Toshiba model.....

I appreciate your help, any other ideas?

it's too soon to tell, but the 1st site had drivers for win95. more research is necessary. one would expect the boot disk to have drivers for win95, but since this a combo device, who knows.

if you have a vintage win98 cdrom lying around(I know, unlikely), try it.

if you have another boot disk, try it.

end of ideas, for now.

edit
here's the 'win95' link

one more idea:

unzip the win95 driver onto the D: drive in the DRIVERS folder, then try fdisk again(using cdrom support).

edit - more details on required file modifications

attached is the zip file for Toshiba XM-1502B

save copies of autoexec.bat and config.sys
if the driver is copied to the root directory of the boot floppy, modify config.sys as follows:
from
device=oakcdrom.sys /D:mscd001
to
device=a:\Cdromdrv.sys /D:mscd001

verify that autoexec.bat has the following line:
a:\mscdex /D:mscd001

note: mscd001 is a name and must be the same name in both files
