Unregistering a device

Thank you for having this service ! I know this is probably a really dumb question but how do I unregister a device ? All I want to do is delete one of my aol screen names/email address but it won't let me because you "can't delete a name that's attached to a registered device". I don't even know what the device is or if/when I registered it !! I simply want to get rid of the mailbox/screen name.
