Okay. Another problem. I assumed I should post it here, though it may have something to do with spyware.

My computer had this problem once before. Every couple seconds, it would be the regular mouse (i.e. white arrow), but then it would change to a white arrow with the little hour glass next to it. And the hourglass would then disappear, but then reappear in about the next ten seconds.

The last time, I sent my computer to my cousin. He couldn't fix it, so he gave it to his friend. Apparently, there was a lot of spyware installed. Which led me to assume that there's various programs all trying to load at once? I'm not quite sure.

My computer IQ is very low, and I only know how to repair basic things. So if I could get help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. For the 'blinking mouse' as I have started to call it, is annoying me to no end. So help is much loved.

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
