Is it possible to set GW so I can play with low graphics? I have an Intel Chipset (think it's 86826G or somthing) for graphics and it really SUCKS. I get to play Guild Wars for a while, and then my computer crashes.

Any :tazz:

Yes your correct Intel integrated graphics does suck and I think it's about time they stopped making them.

The best option for you would be to upgrade your graphics card but you could try updating your drivers from the Intel website to see if that helps.

Well, I looked it up on Newegg and I found a nice Radeon video card with 64MB vMemory, and 5000Mhz clockspeed.

It'll come in 2 days. Can't wait! :tazz:

It came!

But...when I tried to install it I saw that I didn't have an VGA slot! Why!??! I can even see where the plastic connector would go! This SUCKS, is it possible to buy the connector?

No, it's not possible to buy a connector.
There are different types of connector for graphics card.
Which one was it? PCI? AGP PCI-Express?
What is the make and model of your PC?

DELL DIMENTION 3000

OS: WindowsXP, SP2 and Umbubntu Linux

-Intel Pentium 4 w/ HyperThreading
-Two 512MB RAM sticks = 1GB of RAM.
-Two 40GB Hard drives
-CD+RW drive (48x)
-Sony DVD+RW (8x)
-Intel 82865G Intergrated Graphics

I bought a Radeon9200 SE VGA graphics card. And then I saw...there was no slot for a VGA card. I have to buy a stupid PCI one for $30 more. Dang. I'm not sure, but I think my friend might have a PCI video card and a VGA slot, so I might trade him. I really want to play this game, though.

The reason I thought I could add a conector was because I can see the dots and outline where the plastic connector would go.

Here's a picture of my motherboard:

What If I bought this: eVGA 128-P1-N309-LX Geforce FX5200 128MB 64-bit DDR PCI Low Profile Video Card - Retail? Would it work to play Guild Wars?

What you have circled is where an AGP should be not a VGA, VGA is the blue cable that plugs into the monitor and connects it to the GFX card, what you want is a PCI card like the 5200 or the 5500 and do you know that link you provided goes to microsoft they dont sell gfx cards im afraid.

The Dell 3000 does not have any other slot except PCI. This is why my friend wants to get a new computer. You are basically stuck with the Intergrated graphics or get a PCI card... Which aren't that great.

Also, that link isn't working for me.

There's the requirement for Guild Wars.
