Any help appreciated on this.

I recently got an Asus a8v-E socket 939 board. Built it up. I have 2 SATA drives but no primary IDE. XP recognizes one drive only but not the other.

Tried to reload and change bios settings, this time loading RAID drivers first (I didn't on first attempt) and now NO SATA is recognized.

Any suggestions? (I get a device error) How wrong can it be to plug SATA cables in?? It seems pretty obvious.
