hi:
winxp

agp= geforce fx5200 (nvidia)
pci= visiontek radeon 9250 (ati) 128mb

the agp was installed first and used for over a year w/o any problems..

bought refurbished card for pci w/o any drivers. found drivers and installed..upon reboot, everything is fine. upon anohter boot, the agp monitor will not display. i get error about i need to update drivers etc. the message doesnt say which card to update..

i switched pci slots.. no luck

the motherboard has no option for boot sequence concerning agp/pci..

i really dont think running winxp repair will work..

thanx for your response but it SO does not help.. as stated i get error messages. i the control panel> display does not even recognize the AGP monitor.. i need to change priority or something, which i cant seem to find the boot order in BIOS.. I have obviously done the rudimentary steps that your link runs through.. if i completely reinstll drivers i get joy on the next boot, but thats it--the 2nd boot gives me the error
