I have recently purchased and installed this router via a cable. I now want to set up the wireless feature so that my laptop upstairs will have an internet connection. However I am not sure what I need to purchase to make this happen. The only wireless aspect my laptop has is an infra red port. Could someone please tell me what I need to set it up wirelessly?

Any help would be great :tazz:

Wireless USB dongle. Or a wireless adaptor.

Run the CD that comes with it, plug it in, tell it to find a list of networks it can see, pick the one that's your network, opt to connect to it, bash in your security key if set, click Connect.

Job done, have a cup of coffee and surf on it. The laptop, not the... never mind.

rossko_uk - I'd recommend the Wireless Adapter over the "Wireless USB dongle" -- I've heard a fair amount of complaints in regards to USB.

Would this be what you mean, or is this more of a dongle?

Thanks for the help
