Hello Everyone,

Everytime I try to play a internet video clip or playing online games, I get disconnected and try to the repair option and cannot renew IP address. I tested the network and failed on DHCPServer and DNSServerSearchOrder.

What should i do?

Please goto Start --> Run --> Type EVENTVWR and press OK --> Now, look under the System Logs for any Errors or Warnings --> if you have the following error -- TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts. --
then please download this Patcher (the english version; top link). Run it (choose to increase the limit to 50). Then restart your computer. Test your connection.

Also, please post any other errors/warnings you may recieve in the System log.

In the System log,
there are tcpip, W32Time, Dhcp, and cdromerror and warnings.

Please open the TCPIP error by double clicking on it -- is the error message within the same as the message I posted above? If so, please run the aforementioned patcher.

i can go online. I changed it to 50 but when i tried to play online video clips, I still get disconnected again. I don't think it worked.

What happens when you plug your computer directly into the modem and browse? Do you still get disconnected?

I don't use a router, I connect directly into the cable modem.

W32Time (WARNING)
The time service is now synchronizing the system time with the time source time.windows.com (ntp.m|0x1|24.45.58.24:123->207.46.130.100:123).

W32Time (ERROR)
The time provider NtpClient is configured to acquire time from one or more time sources, however none of the sources are currently accessible. No attempt to contact a source will be made for 14 minutes. NtpClient has no source of accurate time.

DHCP (ERROR)
The IP address lease 192.168.100.2 for the Network Card with network address 0030BDB9A98C has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.100.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).

• ipconfig /release -- wait for the connection to release; then
• ipconfig /renew -- wait for the connection to re-establish, or alternatively for an error message to display -- if it is an error message, please post the message.

As I tried to play a game online I lost my connectivity. After I released it, I then renew but an error occurred:

An error occurred while renewing interface Local Area Connection 1 : unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has timed out.

First of all, try updating your modems firmware.

Secondly, try setting up a static IP -- do you know how to?
