Hey guys, i have a motherboard with SATA connectors. Can i Use the SATA 2 Samsung Spin point drives on my board?

I think that it will work because its backwards compatable.

If you get a western digital sataII harddrive it has a jumper on it to force it to use sata 150. Samsungs do I think, this is newer technology and I wouldnt get a sataII harddrive for a motherboard with Sata1.

There is no use in getting a sataII if your motherboard is sata 150.

Maybe if it was on sale or something.

I would stick with the sata 150 so you wouldnt have to worry about anything.
