HP Officejet G85 printer won't print when I play Windows Media Pla

Hi. I've been having problems with my HP Officejet G85 printer. Everytime I try to print while my Windows Media Player is open, the printer won't work. I try printing using various program like Word and Notepad but they all can't print. However, if I restart while the document is still pending (in the print queue), the printer will print those documents that were pending after booting up. Then the printer will work fine until I again open my media player.

I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks so much.
