I have a HP Pavillian a220N that someone tried to flash the bios and now the system does nothing at all other than turn on the power or beeps if you take out the memory. Is there any way to recover or purchase a BIOS chip and replace it?

Any help will be appricated.

Best place I know of other than the MoBo mfg - strike that - make it including the MoBo mfg is Badflash.com. You can send an email to [email protected] with specifics or just visit his site. You can supply the bin files you were trying to flash or ask him to find them for you. You can even send your old chip to him and save yourself a couple of bucks - any way you want to do it, this guy is the best of the best. It doesn't get any better. :tazz: :)
