Ok, here's the deal. My brother is an idiot. He somehow managed to screw up his computer completely because he doesn't understand the concept of dangerous sites, viruses, spyware, etc, no matter how much I try to explain.

He is getting a sysfader message, a dr. watson postmortem debugger error and things are so bad he can't even open ANY folder at all right now.

I had him download HiJackThis so I could post the log here in hopes of the wonderful people at this site being able to help. Please know that he has ran virus scans (ran AVG and Panda Online) and has run the latest AdAware.

I apologize for whatever expert decides to handle this, because I'm sure it's a mess.

You guys are so awesome. I just got done talking to my brother and told him to run it and it fixed the homepage/folder not opening problems. Thanks so much, I really appreciate your help a lot in this matter.

Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu).

You will see an icon representing your harddrive (most likely C: Drive) Right Click on the hard drive icon and click Properties at the
bottom of the fly out window. One the very first tab (General) you will see a button labeled "Disk Cleanup"...click that button.
Make sure the following are checked:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files and
Recycle Bin
Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

Get rid of these two by checkiing them after running Hijack This.
