Over the past couple weeks I've noticed a steady decline in my system. Shut downs and start ups taking longer and longer amounts of times, programs not opening up as fast, and one day I realized I hadn't run Norton in awhile and I realized that no matter how many times I rebooted, I couldn't get the anti-virus to run a scan. Today, I downloaded some notes off the internet (word doc) for one of my courses in college and realized Word won't open either :tazz: the Word opening box opens up in the middle of the screen and not much happens from there. It does, however, open in safe mode.

ewido, trojan hunter, adaware, etc have all found nothing.

Desperate! I really need word back ASAP! :)

Yes, he was helping me but also told me to post in here.

I actually got office 2003 professional edition (I originally had office 2002 small business) and it fixed everything...I can finally run a virus scan and hopefully get the rest taken care of on my own.
