Hi ustion and Welcome to GeekstoGo!

Please go to Add\Remove Programs and Remove

SpywareCleanerService

Please Update Ewido with the latest definitions.

Download CleanUp
Install the program, dont run it yet, we will later.

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.sub.../Fixwareout.exe
http://swandog46.gee.../Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, HijackThis will launch. Please click Scan, and check the following items:

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{17480EDF-DED8-494F-B3AF-05238227B634}: NameServer = 85.255.116.114,85.255.112.209

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{951151A1-EE90-4FA1-84B5-F96F45A31240}: NameServer = 85.255.116.114,85.255.112.209

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{DF7B4811-BE64-4247-AD73-EB67726EB059}: NameServer = 85.255.116.114,85.255.112.209

O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\..\{17480EDF-DED8-494F-B3AF-05238227B634}: NameServer = 85.255.116.114,85.255.112.209

Click FIX CHECKED. Close HijackThis, and click OK to proceed.

You will want to look for any entries similar to these

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dmgow.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\dmgow.exe
or
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [hgmos.exe] C:\Windows\System32\hgmos.exe

The entry may not be exactly as the one above.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dm***.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\dm***.exe
or
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [hg***.exe] C:\Windows\System32\hg***.exe

Note: * = a randomly generated letter.

If found, fix with HijackThis along with the other entries indicated above.

At the end of the fix, you may need to restart your computer again.

Reboot into SAFE MODE(Tap F8 when restarting)
Here is a link on how to boot into Safe Mode:
http://service1.syma...src=sec_doc_nam

Now run the CleanUp program:

*IMPORTANT NOTE*
CleanUp deletes EVERYTHING out of your temp/temporary folders, it does not make backups.
If you have any documents or programs that are saved in any Temporary Folders, please make a backup of these before running CleanUp

Running CleanUp
  • Start CleanUp by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
  • When CleanUp starts go to the Options button (right side of CleanUp screen)
  • Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
  • Now place a checkmark next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):
    • Delete Cookies
This is optional, if you leave the box checked it will remove all of your cookies, at this point removing cookies is a good idea
    • Empty Recycle Bins
    • Delete Prefetch files
    • Cleanup! All Users
  • Click OK
  • Then click on the CleanUp button. This will take a short while, let it do its thing.
  • When asked to reboot system select No
  • Close CleanUp
Now open ewido and do a scan of your system.
  • Click on scanner
  • Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
  • You will be prompted to clean the first infection.
  • Select "Perform action on all infections", then proceed.
  • Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report.
  • Save the report .txt file to your desktop or a location where you can find it easily.

Finally, please post the contents of the logfile C:\fixwareout\report.txt and the report from Ewido, along with a new HijackThis log into this topic.
