first...don't type in all caps..it's concidered yelling...and rude..

second...could you describe the problem in m ore detail?

what does the blue screen say?
what tech told you it was a mouse?
how are you trying to install?
system specs would be nice?

If you click on the user name it will tell you the specs
I am tring to install windows xp and it formats but then
it goes to blue screen error saying it may be hardware
my tech I bought the computer from said it was the mouse
I had problems with crashing to restart, so I am tring to
install a differnt windows xp on it.

can you post EXACTLY what the blue screen said?

have you tried a different mouse?

what's different about this windows xp as opposed to the original windows xp?

are you using a full xp disk or an upgrade disk? is this the disk that came with the computer?

I can't remeber what the blue screen said, yes I have tried a differnt mouse, the xp is a full disk, it is a differnt disk all together

ok...are you still getting he blue screen? if not...could you try to cause it again..we really can't troubleshoot the message without the full...well..message...

why are you using a different disk than the one you got with the computer?
where did you get the disk?
