So, on recommendation, I downloaded and installed SP2 and all the current updates for my XP machine. Now my printer won't work. This process hpzeng12.exe is taking up so much virtual memory that the little warning that my machine is low on virtual memory comes up when I only have 2 programs running. On top of that, nothing will print. It's like something in SP2 is preventing my printer to spool and print correctly...but I haven't got the first clue what it would be...Not only will my printer not print, but I can't get the current print job to delete... :tazz: :)

Thanks in advance....

Reboot the PC

Run disc clean up, uninstall the printer if you have the software for it

Click start then run, type prefetch then press enter, click edit, select all, right click any file, click delete, confirm and reboot

Install the printer. You will likely find more recent drivers on the hp site
