I am having this problem while playing various games:

The instruction ....... etc..
The memory could not be "read"

I have been reading other topics, even the "memory could not be "written" " but unfortunately this did not lead to a solution for me (also not the boot.ini editing).

When I updated my BIOS my system even gave this error with Explorer.exe so I had to downgrade my BIOS again.

Is my windows version crappy? Are my drivers wrong?!?
I hope anyone can help me with this extremely annoying problem...

Many tnx beforehand, Mark

System specs:
Win XP Corp. English (SP2 build2600)
Pentium D 830+
Intel D945G TP Motherboard

Hi! Tnx 4 the reply!,

I have been checking windows update. Unfortunately I had all the relevant updates installed and the site refers to windows2000 (hot)fixes so im not sure what to do.

There is nothing about windows XP on their site :)

This bug is really getting annoying! :tazz: !, greetz
