my computer restarts by itself!

every now and then or if my computer has been on for around a hour it restarts by itself and it get very annoying and if anyone could help me i would be very happy and sorry i dont have a windows xp disc :tazz:

most of the time, this is a result of heat build up...try opening the case and cleaning out the dust bunnies

Or you could shut off the auto restart and see if you get a blue screen with an error code... I would also look in the event logs for activities coinciding with the restarts.

ya thats what happens i get this blue screen that was error!!!!!!!!!!

try to clean out ur fan so the heat doesnt build up as much
