My 1st post.... :tazz:

I know you all are so tired of seeing these posts, but I spent all weekend debugging this myself after reading so many of the about:blank info already posted. I still keep getting the infection if I open IE. Right now, I'm not opening IE, but using FireFox instead. Here is what I've tried:

Scan using AVG - I keep NAV 2005 installed and updated, but it can't fix JackSh**. Fixes Download.Trojan, JS.Downloader.Trojan, Trojan.Admincash, Trojan.Byteverify

Reboot into safemode

- Run AVG
- Run DelDomains
- Run AboutBuster
- Run CWShredder (never finds anything)
- Run CleanUp
- Run AdAware, full system scan
- Run HJT, clean up a few items I recognize

Reboot normal mode

- Run AVG again

Have not opened IE6 at this point today, so I'm not re-infected, but I know as soon as I open it that besides my default homepage of Google, a popup window will come up, then SpySubtract will tell me that a bunch of stuff in IE6 is going to be changed, I block it from being changed, but am re-infected from the popup.

So what am I missing deleting? Can I uninstall IE6 and just forget about using it or will it also take away my Outlook Express?

Thank you all for your hard work, it must get pretty amusing seeing all of us post this stuff over and over.... ;)

Here is my HJT log as of now:

Since I have no replies I assume I broke a forum rule of some sort and am being ignored. Can someone please enlighten me?
