You can use memtest86 to test ram
Prime95 will test for heat,psu,mobo,cpu,ram. The thing with prime is it won't tell you witch component is bad but you can us it to make sure your computer hardware is stable and you are not having software issues.

What kind of problems are you having and what are your system specs?
