My computer will not connect to the internet.
I called comcast and they say my ip address, 169.254.71.121, is a dummy address. They recommend uninstalling the my ethernet card and reboot but that did nothing. I hit the repair button but the message tells me to contact my administrator or ISP.
I am not too computer literate.
My computer uses the "Realtek RTL8139/810X family pci fast ethernet nic".

Please help.
