Hi everybody!

I have a problem with my audio. I have a Pentium 4, 512MB RAM and I am unable to play any sound through my speakers, be it CD's, DVDs or PC midi audio. The error meassage that pops up everytime I click on ana audio link is the following:

Windows cannot play the sound %SystemRoot%\media\WindowsXPError.wav Sound card may be in use

Can somebody tell please help with my probem?

Hi and Welcome,

Few questions:

1. What OS are you running?

2. What brand / model sound card do you have?

3. Do you have the latest sound card drivers for your sound card? If not, you might want to update them.

Post back with the answers to my questions, and we can go from there.
