hello,
this is the first time that i have actually heard someone trying to speed up thier internet. First thing, have you noticed anything unusual such as the presence of malware, if so please procede to the malware forum and get your computer looked at. Also if your using firefox i have found this extention for firefox that says it speeds it up, i have never tried it out myself but i guess it's worth the try. Here's the URL.
