Does anyone know if there is some software out there that can decode xp's password encryption? If so where can it be gotten or downloaded?

Howdy:

Just curious but why would you need to do that??

Also, we aren't in the habit of helping people break, crack or hack pawwords!!!

I'm trying to find a way to recover an admins password WITHOUT cracking or using any kind of illigal method, which whenver i search on google always seems to come up

Does your laptop have Home or Pro XP? Are you trying to get into the real admin account or the one with admin priveleges? Was the OS preinstalled on the computer when you bought it?

Yes, the OS was the same one it was when i bought it which is XP Home.
I have 2 accounts on the computer: one is administrator and the other is my personal account which also has administrator rights. I am most concerned about accessing my personal account because it has all of the more impoortant files on it.
