I have an old lexi cross game I want to put into my computer, but when I do the install.exe it just flashes the box and is gone. It won't load it. I went to ms dos and it told me I am missing the default pif I believe it is called.
I saw one of the forums where a person was advised to type in command.com and type in _default. Tried that. Also tried via notepad with this

lh %SystemRoot%\system32\mscdexnt.exe

lh %SystemRoot%\system32\redir

lh %SystemRoot%\system32\dosx

SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 P330 T3
saved it to autoexec.net
Still doesn't work.
