I read and followed a post that was just completed, but the registry editor didn't fix my problem -- my background isn't displaying... any ideas??? :tazz:

btw... nothing is checked on the Web tab either.

The post was for samanthafrost.

In the DESKTOP tab of DISPLAY properties, are the items grayed out or are you able to change them but when you click APPLY nothing changes?

Please right click this LINK, choose SAVE LINK AS or SAVE TARGET AS, and save it somewhere on your computer where you will remember where it is located. Then find the file on your computer and double-click it to run it. Click YES to the warning: Are you sure you want to add the information in FILE LOCATION HERE\restorealldisplaytabs.reg to the registry? Then reboot your computer and see if you can't change the background now.

No possible way that you rebooted your computer after running it. Even my computer isn't that fast. Lol

If that doesn't work, then please try the solution in THIS post, specifically downloading and running the fixreg.zip file which can be found in post #5 of that topic.
