Hi there,

I'm a new user and not a very technically proficient computer geek. Have a major problem with searchclickads redirect hijacking Windows XP home internet explorer 6.0 browser periodically. The only way I found to get back online was to restore my wireless router to its factory defaults and for some reason that works. Anyway, I read a reply by a user called Kat (Jan 12th) to another user Scaggs problem with this malware. Topic 91509.

I've downloaded about:buster , CWshredder and ATF Cleaner. I have no idea what they do, but I'm going to follow the instructions that were given by Kat to Scaggs. If I get a log back that I can post up, I will. Thank God for geek forums. You guys are saviors for ordinary mortals! Wish me luck with my malware-riddled computer! Anybody out there who has anything helpful to tell me, it will be greatly appreciated!
