Itunes WILL NOT LOSD

I am having problems loading my Itunes. Win xp, sp2, NIS. Everytime I click the icon I get a hour glass then it disappears. I,ve uninstalled and reinstalled but the same thing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Try disabling NIS.

make sure NIS is update by running liveudpate.
