for some reason my cd-rom wont let me burn cds any more. I don't know if its my burning program or if its my cd-rom, but it always says device not ready now when i try to burn a cd.
i can put other cds in it and it works, is there a way to find out whats wrong with it? it was just working last month when i used it before i don't know what happen to it.

Before getting all technical, let's start with the easier attempts to fix this problem. Keep in mind, it is very possible that your problem is hardware related, meaning your drive might not be functioning properly.

Firstly, try downloading/installing a different CD burning program, just to make sure it's not a problem with your settings. If this does not help, you should try running the system cchecks listed in the HiJackThis section of the forum to make sure it's not malware or virus related.
