Okay I ran a game by accident and it crashed. My screen resolution remained at 800x600 even though it was initially set at 1024x786 and the game was off. My Properties shows the display as if it was on 1024x786 yet it is obviously, visually not. This is bull**** and I don't understand why the [bleep] thing wont see its wrong. *kicks computer*

I tried:
restarting computer
reinstalling video drivers
changing the refresh rate
changing the resolutiong to a higher setting to compensate

none of these work.
please help.
Thanks in advance, Kriss

remove the display adapter from device manager, then reboot and let windows reinstall on reboot

start > run
devmgmt.msc

Hey Kriss. I'm glad gerry was able to help you get the problem fixed. As I told you in chat...this is a family friendly site, and no cursing is allowed. Even though it is [bleep] out...we prefer you to not use it at all. :tazz: Thanks!
