I'm getting the following error messages on a Windows 2000 PC:

Cannot find the file "C:\WIN2K\System32\divxenc.exe" (or one of it's components). Make sure the path and file name are correct and that all required libraries are available.

And this one:

"Error loading C:\WIN2K\cpu.dll the specified module could not be found."

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :tazz:

Thanks

I said ATTACHm not post

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe "C:\WIN2K\System32\divxenc.exe"
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [divx] "C:\WIN2K\System32\divxenc.exe"

select each of the above lines and check the boxes next to them and hit FIX. That will fix that startup error

I should also note that you have atleast ONE trojan horse on your computer.

A trip to our malware forum is warranted
