ok i know html pretty well, css as well, and am learning php. i did all these things because i was bored one summer. i know i can take a certification test (for a small fee, of course), but someone tell me what good do certifications in web design/browser scripting do and in which jobs/careers. i know generally it's good to have on your resume, because that way people see that you have other interests/hobbies and are open to new things. but really, where will certificates in these areas do me the most good? and where else?
