i can not seem to install programs from disks....i am using windows xp....if i go under control panel -> add or remove programs-> add new programs-> click CD of floppy, the comp will dectect what drive the disk is in, but the installation will not start automatically. its says windows was unable to find the installation program. then i have to browse to find the program...what is the name of the program? i thought it was something like c:\run.exe or c:\setup.exe, but i don't seem to have those files on my comp. so what should i do? any help would be appreicated...thanks in advance

Hi kaydb...

Try this Repair Wizard found buried in the Microsoft Site. You'll have to run the validation tool before downloading.
