Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how can i save .java Files as .exe files

Is there any program for this and how does it work?
Are there any simple methods?
Is JVM neccessary on the computer on wich i want to run the .exe (previously .java)?

p.s if someone doesnt understand what i want to know here is an explanation

i make a HelloWorld program, now i want to save it as .exe files so that i can just click on it and it will display HELLO WORLD (or whatever i compile)

Thanks.

Hello Eduu,

Java will never be .exe, since Java is supposed to be platform independent. Since .exe is a WINDOWS binary file, it is not possible :tazz:.
JVM is neccesary otherwise it could not be run.

You have to pre-compile the .java file into a .jar file. That's as far as you can go :).
