computer freeze up

My computer has been on for almost 2 weeks now. I hate to turn it off because it takes so long to get
it working again. It does not matter if you are just turning it on or if you have made it to the internet, it
will just freeze up, I know it is not a heat problem, since it has been running for almost 2 weeks and has
not froze up yet. this has been going on for about a month now. Can some one please tell me what I
can do . Thank You. brenda
