Hi all,
I have 2 hard drives and one is partitioned into 2. I have tried to format my computer, but using a windows recovery disk does not give me this option. All it will allow is too install windows xp.
I had to install xp on another drive and manually try to format the previous version of which I have struggled to do.
Could anybody give me a few tips to completely format my pc and install just one xp os.

Thanks
Scott

You can use a windows98 bootfloppy to delete the partition(s) on even a windows xp machine.

www.bootdisk.com

boot with floppy, choose fdisk

choose delete non dos partition(s), select partitions

Delete.
