Is there any way of telling Microsoft Outlook to 'wake up' when the 'send to' : e-mail option is used in Windows Explorer - to e-mail a file using a right click ?

Otherwise the e-mail with its attachment stays in the Outbox until MO is again activated

Alternatively is there any way of making sure that Microsoft Outlook is on at Start Up and cannot be dropped until Shut Down ?

You could add a shortcut to the start up folder, and set outlook to autosend at timed intervals...but preventing someone from shutting outlook down.....that's tricky. I've had people ask how to shutdown OUtlook when it refuses, but never had someone ask how to make it refuse to shutdown

How about hide?

These folks make a progam that will cause outlook tohide in the system tray
