Howdy

My computer crashed the other day and as I was thinking about a fresh install of XP I went ahead and reformatted and installed. Now on boot-up I get the BSOD and the error message stop:0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0x8010571C, 0xFC8D3248, 0xFC8DF48).
I've tried starting in safe mode, starting from the CD. Using the Restore Console, but have had no luck. I'm not really sure what the message is telling me.

Any ideas??

Hope this sheds some light on it:

May help you to track down the cause.

STOP error codes without an actual error message that's readable are strictly for the system experts to understand ---- that lets me out!

You can 'google' an error message with some degree of success, but a long string of numbers meets with rather less success unfortunately.
