Blank screen with DOS prompt

I erased my hardrive, and I am left with a blank screen with a DOS prompt...

I tried reinstalling windows 98 with a CD and a floppy but nothing happens. What do I do?!!

Did you format the hard drive or did you just delete the folders & files.
Is the floppy a 98 startup disk.
Is the dos prompt A:> or C:>

Did you use fdisk

Fixed thanks!

It's my first time erasing a drive and then reinstalling an os. I booted from win98 cd and the reinstall worked. Adding the floppy later. I forgot to reinsall the drivers so I could not adjust my screen size.
Was quite an education and I won't be erasing drives anytime soon.
