Good afternoon. I thank you again for your help in the past. This time:I need help with a monitor that has gone blink-dark. This is a KDS model VS19. In the beginning it was doing very well. (This is used) Then it blanked out, so I took it back. After being told there was nothing wrong I put it back in the system. All was well for a spell, but then it went south again. Reinstalled my origional monitor, and it does fine. I discovered that I could cycle the thing about 5 sec. after blackout and it would come back, however now it is dead in the water. I hear the usuall start up for the tube-Bllliiing- but I can hear a circuit breaker or some kind of planed obsolescence device opening up the circuit as it goes blank. The B+ is still there, as I do not lose the "on" light. I am looking for some information on what the current draw should be. Also, where can I find a schematic to let me know if there is indeed a circuit breaker in this thing. The sound I hear does sound like a relay opening up. There is no reset on the back. Please advise what other info you need. Thank You. Harold Schmidt.

Sounds to me like the power supply in the monitor is failing (or failed). This is NOT something you want to attempt fixing yourself (very high voltages). I hope it's still covered by warranty.
