Problems installing Norton Internet Security 2006

I purchased and downloaded Norton Internet Security 2006 as my current Norton Internet Security 2005 was about to expire, however I have been unable to succesfully install it, I repeatidly get the following error message after the program has downloaded:

As far as i'm aware I have XP Professional, I downloaded the service pack anyway but it made no difference.

Please Please can somebody help me work out what I have to do! My internet security has completely expired now and I don't want to comprise the security to my computer for much longer!!
