I am backing up Outlook Express emails and address book prior to transferring the data to another harddrive. Message indicated 2.3GB space Required! I checked and found the inbox folder size is 678MB and the delete folder size is 342MB (even tho the delete folder is empty.) I need to reduce the file folers to reasonable size, as I do not want to create such large files when I restore to the new drive. Does anyone know how to decrease the folder sizes? I figure the delete folder should not be more that 5MB and the inbox far smaller than it is. Thanks. By the way, I am using Outlook-Backup-Express software to do the back up and transfer.
