My computer still says that I have 512 of DDR RAM in my computer. I had two cards of 256, I took them out and put in two cards of 512 = 1G of RAM. But my computer runs the same and in setup, it still says 512. I am trying to play EQII and I got a new graphics card and need a bit more RAM to run it. What do I do to make my computer read the new RAM? My brother and his friend got me this computer, and I did not get any manuals/information on it, so I cant look up mother board specifics. Its a Dell Dimension 3000 running XP. Any help would be apreciated, I cant play my game!
