MOre Problem in PAraDise!... I installed mysql 4.1. I'm able to connect using the mysql administrator, but I'm trying to install phpbb2 and when ever I put the database information I get cannot connect to server, any idea what may be the problem?

I don't have any experience with phpBB, but I'll try to help. Can you give some further details? Is it a false username, password?...

I bet phpbb comes as a big zip file without any supporting wizards or comfortable stuff like that. May be try reading their included readme, they'll tell you where is the main .php file you can configure - from there you will be able to alter some mysql settings.

Please try that and tell me if any of the above worked :tazz:
