Ok so I give up. This virus (I believe it's 'spooner-a' with a touch of coolwebsearch and who know what-else) has totally loaded my home pc. I'm just going to reload it all. Other then, me giving in, loseing all of my WORD files and having to reload some other software (camera,alphasmart,etc) I hope this will put this whole virus thing behind me, am I correct??

all programs will have to be reinstalled. But there is a way to save your word-docs and photo's, ...

Use partition magic to divide your C: in 2 parts (C: and D:)
put all the files to save in the new D: part en format onely C:

Oh,... and before you format your C: make sure you have all your drivers (and download the missing ones from internet first).
