Hi

Here's my problem! I have two HD on my computer (one Seagate 80go for windows and personnal stuff, and one seagate 120 for video editing only... No OS installed on it)

My 80go failed last month and i had to change it for a new one. Once i installed it and format it, i never manage to detect my 120go HD witch is an Dynamic volume. I don't know what it is, but that's what i've been told by my brother in law!

The following error appears on start up

secondary ide channel no 80 conductor cable installed

When i go in the raid utility of the bios, i see my 120 go drive even if it's not a raid HD... But when i go in the Bios setup to do a "auto-detect", nothing's happen!

Oh! by the way, the 80go is a IDE Hard drive and the 120go is a SATA Hard drive

I really don't understand!

Thanks for your usefull help!

AMD 2600+ 1.7ghz
1gig ram
Asus A7N8X-E (Nvidia nForce ultra 400) motherboard
Seagate 80go IDE
Seagate 120go SATA
