As the title says. my computer has become so incredibly slow ovr the last week or so.

I've stumbled through the instructions. Hope this is the right stuff

Sorry, I forgot to mention that, every time I reboot the computer, something turns off my 'automatic' Windows update downloader. So I get a warning that says I am at risk and I have to click on the balloon and turn it on.
